Prof. Soeparwi Animal Hospital is equipped with a laboratory that provides various further examinations to support the doctor’s confirmation of the diagnosis. Examinations provided by the laboratory include: routine blood tests, blood chemistry, PCR, and antibiotic sensitivity tests. Routine blood tests include HB, HMT, RBC, RBC Index, WBC, Dif. WBC, Platelets, Platelet Index, Reticulocytes. Blood chemistry tests include SGPT, SGOT, ALP, GTT, TP/TPP, Glucose, Bilirubin, Albumin, Amylase, CK, Cholesterol, BUN, Creatinine, Ca, P, Na, K. PCR is carried out to identify disease agents including Babesia sp, Anaplasma/Ehrlichia, Hepatozoon canis, Mycoplasma haemofelis, Toxoplasma, Leucocytozoon, and FIP.  Antibiotic sensitivity tests include Amoxicillin, Enrofloxacin, Doxycyclin, Erithromycin, Gentamycin, Chlorampenicol. Apart from that, bacteria can be isolated and identified in the laboratory.
