Prof. Soeparwi Animal Hospital Soeparwi is an educational veterinary hospital within Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada, which promotes the principles of the Tridharma of Higher Education:

1. 1. Education: to train studens become a professional veterinarians.
      
      
   2. Research: facilities and infrastructure that support research.
      
      
   3. Community service: providing animal health services to the community including examination, diagnosis, treatment and prevention for society.

Prof. Soeparwi animal hospital act as:

1. 1. A place to educate and train veterinary students’ ability in term of medical examination, diagnoses, medication, and treatment on both healthy and sick animals.
      
      
   2. A place to educate and train bachelor’s degree internship students from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada, or other institutions.
      
      
   3. A training ground for various skills as a form of further learning.
      
      
   4. A training ground for surgery practice all around Indonesia. In this case, Prof. Soeparwi cooperates with related institutions, including but not limited to Indonesian Health Ministry, and Indonesian Doctors Association.
      
      
   5. A public place for numerous animal patients (small animals, large animals, exotic, aquatic, poultry, wild animals, etc.)
      
      
   6. An information centre about zoonosis for public and communities.
      
      
   7. A provider of facilities and infrastructures to support varied researches.
